How do I become a professional home stager?

There are many ways to become a professional home stager. The question is, how much training do you need? Do you need a full home staging and home staging business program? Or do you really just need a home based home staging course?

If you already have home staging knowledge and experience and just need to know how to get a home staging business started, then you won't need to go to a home staging seminar weekend or take classes. If you don't know anything about home staging techniques but are confident you can follow directions and practice the procedures on your own, then home staging seminars are probably more than you need.

Also, home staging seminars and classes are geared toward obtaining a certification or accreditation of some kind, which is not a requirement to enter the home staging business. Credentials, memberships, home staging certifications...they are all expensive to join and maintain yearly and the bottom line is that home staging is a wide open business you can enter without a "piece of paper" to show for yourself.
